Saina Esfandiari , O.D.Therapeutic OptometristSaina Esfandiari, O.D., received her Doctorate in Optometry at the Inter-American University School of Optometry, San Juan PR going on to become a Clinical Instructor at the same institution. As an instructor she assessed and managed common patient complaints and prescribed treatment and medication. In addition to her instructional duties, she also discussed cases with physicians and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan. Her areas of interest include treatment of dry eyes and corneal dytrophies. Dr. Esfandiari has more than ten years of clinical background providing education and patient co-management with general ophthalmologist, retina and glaucoma specialist.
